Bio

Artist, ecologist, climber - born in Linz, lives in Graz.

Visual Media Artist

Klaus Schrefler started with photography in early 80-ies, later his focus could be called visual arts in general; he combined video with performances; made animation film, produced sculptures and art in public space. One may call him a Visual Media Artist: trans-disciplinary art projects, animation film, photo-, video- and Installation [numerous international presentations Algeria, Australia, Croatia, Denmark, Ecuador, England, France, Germany, India, Japan, Slovenia, Spain, USA,...; he travelled more than 30 countries.
